The Miami Marlins unveiled throwback uniforms that will be worn during home Sundays in the 2026 season. The look includes a teal Marlins jersey that will appear on the field in a regular-season game for the first time in franchise history. The design connects the club’s early identity with its present and future.

The throwback uniforms pay tribute to the original Florida Marlins uniforms introduced in 1993. They feature an Always Marlins wordmark across the chest and a Florida Marlins Legacy Mark patch. Contemporary tailoring and detailing are paired with a classic design rooted in the club’s history.

Teal uniforms set for March 29 debut

The Miami Marlins will open the 2026 season against the Colorado Rockies on Friday, March 27, at 7:10 p.m. The throwback uniforms will make their official on-field debut Sunday, March 29, when the Miami Marlins host the Colorado Rockies at 1:40 p.m. Both games are scheduled for loanDepot park.

Fans can purchase Marlins teal jerseys and related throwback merchandise at the Marlins Team Store at loanDepot park beginning on Opening Day. The teal design honors the Florida Marlins uniforms that helped establish the club’s identity in South Florida. It also carries the legacy of the Fightin’ Fish.

“This uniform is about celebrating where we have been while continuing to build on the excitement of where we are going,” said Alex Parker, Miami Marlins Chief Brand Officer. “Teal is more than a color in our history. It represents the moment fans first fell in love with Marlins baseball. This uniform connects that legacy with today’s team and today’s fan, uniting the Fightin’ Fish of the past and present as we push to the future.”
