Florida's top-level professional soccer section centers on Inter Miami CF, Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride. It includes match coverage, roster moves, transfers, schedules, cup competitions and development-team reporting, with MLS NEXT Pro teams nested beneath their parent MLS clubs. Florida's professional soccer history predates the current MLS era, highlighted by the original Tampa Bay Rowdies winning the 1975 NASL Soccer Bowl. The modern top-flight landscape grew with Orlando City joining MLS in 2015, the Orlando Pride entering the NWSL in 2016 and Inter Miami CF beginning MLS play in 2020. Lower-division and women's professional clubs have since expanded the sport into Tampa Bay, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Naples and Sarasota.
