Saint Leo Lions

The Saint Leo Lions category covers Saint Leo University athletics at the NCAA Division II level. The program competes primarily in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC). Florida Sports Blog follows schedules, scores, recruiting, coaching changes, conference championships, NCAA postseason runs and notable achievements across the athletic department. Saint Leo was a founding member of the Sunshine State Conference in 1975 and has competed at the NCAA Division II level for decades. The Lions have won numerous SSC championships and broke through for an NCAA team national championship in men's golf in 2016. Saint Leo's history also includes deep NCAA postseason runs in baseball, soccer, tennis, lacrosse and other sports.
