The New College Mighty Banyans category covers New College of Florida athletics in the NAIA. The program competes in The Sun Conference. Florida Sports Blog follows schedules, scores, recruiting, conference races, national rankings, postseason events and program features across the school's varsity sports. New College launched intercollegiate athletics in 2023, making the Mighty Banyans one of Florida's newest college sports programs. The school joined the NAIA and The Sun Conference in 2024 and quickly expanded its varsity offerings. Early conference success, including a Sun Conference regular-season title in beach volleyball, gave the young program its first notable competitive milestones.
