NJCAA / FCSAA
Florida's NJCAA / FCSAA section covers two-year college athletics throughout the state. It is the home for junior-college schedules, scores, recruiting, player development, conference and state tournament coverage, national postseason runs and program features. Florida's two-year college sports system has produced national champions, Olympians, professional athletes and thousands of transfers to four-year programs. The FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 structure has historically been among the country's strongest junior-college environments, particularly in baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, swimming, golf and soccer. Schools such as Indian River State, Chipola, Miami Dade and Northwest Florida State have built nationally recognized championship traditions.
