Bowling Green Hot Rods

The Bowling Green Hot Rods category follows the Tampa Bay Rays' High-A affiliate and the next stage for many of the organization's developing prospects. Florida Sports Blog tracks performances, promotions, roster changes and prospect movement throughout the Rays system. The Bowling Green Hot Rods began play in 2009 and have been affiliated with Tampa Bay from their first season. The franchise won its first league championship in 2018 and later added additional titles during the 2020s, becoming one of the Rays system's most successful stops. The Hot Rods moved into the High-A level during MLB's 2021 reorganization.
