Panthers Affiliates

The Florida Panthers affiliate section follows the club's professional development pipeline through the AHL's Charlotte Checkers and ECHL's Savannah Ghost Pirates. It is designed for prospect, recall, assignment and organizational development coverage tied directly to the Panthers. Florida's current development ladder took shape when the Charlotte Checkers became the Panthers' AHL affiliate in 2020-21. The Panthers added the Savannah Ghost Pirates as their ECHL affiliate in 2024 and extended that partnership through 2028-29 in 2026. The system connects recent Calder Cup and Kelly Cup-caliber organizations to the Panthers' NHL roster and prospect development program.
