Beloit Sky Carp

The Beloit Sky Carp category follows the Miami Marlins' High-A affiliate and a key step in the organization's player-development ladder. Coverage centers on prospects, game results, promotions, transactions and players progressing toward Double-A Pensacola and eventually Miami. Beloit's modern affiliated baseball franchise dates to 1982 and spent decades known as the Brewers and Snappers. The club became a Miami Marlins High-A affiliate in 2021 and adopted the Sky Carp name in 2022 after moving into a new downtown ballpark. Beloit won a Midwest League championship in 1995 and has a long history of developing future major leaguers.
