Southeastern Fire

The Southeastern Fire category covers Southeastern University athletics in the NAIA. The program competes in The Sun Conference. Florida Sports Blog follows schedules, scores, recruiting, conference races, national rankings, postseason events and program features across the school's varsity sports. Southeastern developed its modern NAIA profile after joining The Sun Conference in the 2009-10 era. The Fire have become national contenders across multiple sports, winning NAIA baseball championships in 2018 and 2022 and a men's outdoor track and field national title in 2023. Football, basketball, soccer and softball have also helped turn the Lakeland school into one of the conference's flagship athletic programs.
