The 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season ends Sunday with playoff berths, pick-your-opponent seeds and division titles still available across the Eastern and Western conferences. Orlando City B is one of 17 clubs with a published playoff or division-title scenario, including seven paths to an Eastern Conference postseason berth.
MLS NEXT Pro released the Decision Day scenarios for every club still in contention. The Eastern Conference list includes Crown Legacy Football Club, Chattanooga FC, Red Bull New York II, Columbus Crew 2, Atlanta United 2, New York City Football Club II, New England Revolution II, Orlando City B, Connecticut United FC, Philadelphia Union II and Huntsville City Football Club.
The Western Conference scenarios include Timbers2, Ventura County FC, MNUFC2, North Texas SC, Tacoma Defiance and San Jose Earthquakes II.
Orlando City B has seven postseason paths
Orlando City B can clinch a postseason spot through any of seven scenarios. The club qualifies with at least two points, or with a shootout loss combined with Philadelphia Union II earning no more than two points or Connecticut United FC earning no more than one point.
Orlando City B also qualifies with a shootout loss, a New England Revolution II loss and a tiebreaker victory over New England Revolution II. Other paths require Huntsville City Football Club to earn no more than two points while Philadelphia Union II earns no more than one point, Huntsville City Football Club to earn no more than two points while Connecticut United FC loses, or Philadelphia Union II to earn no more than one point while Connecticut United FC loses.
Eastern Conference division races
Crown Legacy Football Club can clinch the Southeast Division title and the top seed in the Eastern Conference with at least two points. It can also win both prizes if it suffers a shootout loss while Chattanooga FC earns no more than two points, if Chattanooga FC earns no more than one point, or if Chattanooga FC wins in a shootout, Crown Legacy Football Club loses and Crown Legacy Football Club wins the tiebreaker over Chattanooga FC.
Chattanooga FC has two routes to the Southeast Division title and Eastern Conference top seed. It can clinch with a win while Crown Legacy Football Club earns no more than one point, or with a shootout win, a Crown Legacy Football Club loss and a tiebreaker victory over Crown Legacy Football Club.
Red Bull New York II can win the Northeast Division with a win. Its other four paths involve combinations of results for Columbus Crew 2, New York City Football Club II, New England Revolution II and Connecticut United FC, including a shootout win with Columbus Crew 2 and New York City Football Club II each earning no more than two points, and a shootout loss with Columbus Crew 2, New England Revolution II and New York City Football Club II meeting the listed point conditions.
Red Bull New York II also can clinch if Columbus Crew 2 loses, New England Revolution II earns no more than one point, Connecticut United FC earns no more than two points and New York City Football Club II loses. The final path requires those same results with New York City Football Club II suffering a shootout loss and Red Bull New York II winning the tiebreaker over New York City Football Club II.
Columbus Crew 2 has four division-title paths. They include a win while Red Bull New York II earns no more than two points; a shootout win while Red Bull New York II earns no more than one point, New York City Football Club II earns no more than two points and New England Revolution II earns no more than two points; a shootout win with a tiebreaker victory over New England Revolution II under the listed conditions; and a shootout loss while Red Bull New York II loses, New York City Football Club II earns no more than one point and New England Revolution II earns no more than two points.
New York City Football Club II can win the Northeast Division with a win while Red Bull New York II and Columbus Crew 2 each earn no more than two points. Its other two paths require a shootout win, a Red Bull New York II loss, Columbus Crew 2 earning no more than one point and New England Revolution II earning no more than two points, or a shootout loss, losses by Red Bull New York II and Columbus Crew 2, New England Revolution II earning no more than one point, Connecticut United FC earning no more than two points and a New York City Football Club II tiebreaker victory over Red Bull New York II.
New England Revolution II has three routes to the Northeast Division title. Connecticut United FC has one division-title scenario. It requires a Connecticut United FC win, losses by Red Bull New York II and Columbus Crew 2, no more than one point for New York City Football Club II and no more than one point for New England Revolution II.
Eastern Conference playoff scenarios
Atlanta United 2 can clinch a postseason spot with at least one point, a tiebreaker victory over New York City Football Club II or Philadelphia Union II, Philadelphia Union II earning no more than two points, Connecticut United FC earning no more than one point, or a New England Revolution II loss. Atlanta United 2 also qualifies if Connecticut United FC wins in a shootout and Atlanta United 2 wins the tiebreaker over Connecticut United FC.
New York City Football Club II has seven postseason paths. They include earning at least one point, winning a tiebreaker over Philadelphia Union II, Connecticut United FC earning no more than one point, a Connecticut United FC shootout win followed by a New York City Football Club II tiebreaker victory over Connecticut United FC, a New England Revolution II loss, Orlando City B earning no more than one point, or an Atlanta United 2 loss followed by a New York City Football Club II tiebreaker victory over Atlanta United 2.
New England Revolution II has five postseason paths. The club qualifies with at least one point, or if Philadelphia Union II earns no more than two points, Connecticut United FC earns no more than one point or Orlando City B loses. It also qualifies if Orlando City B suffers a shootout loss and New England Revolution II wins the tiebreaker over Orlando City B.
Connecticut United FC can qualify with at least two points, a shootout loss paired with Philadelphia Union II earning no more than two points, a shootout loss paired with an Orlando City B loss, or Huntsville City Football Club earning no more than two points while Philadelphia Union II earns no more than one point.
Philadelphia Union II has nine postseason scenarios. The club can qualify with a win and a tiebreaker victory over New York City Football Club II, or with a win combined with Orlando City B earning no more than one point, New England Revolution II losing, Connecticut United FC earning no more than one point, a Connecticut United FC shootout win followed by a Philadelphia Union II tiebreaker victory over Connecticut United FC, or an Atlanta United 2 loss followed by a Philadelphia Union II tiebreaker victory over Atlanta United 2.
Philadelphia Union II also qualifies with a shootout win while Huntsville City Football Club earns no more than two points and Connecticut United FC loses, with a shootout win while Huntsville City Football Club earns no more than two points and Orlando City B loses, or with a shootout win followed by losses for Connecticut United FC and Orlando City B.
Huntsville City Football Club has three postseason paths, all beginning with a win. The remaining conditions require Philadelphia Union II to earn no more than two points and either Connecticut United FC or Orlando City B to lose, or require both Connecticut United FC and Orlando City B to lose.
Western Conference scenarios
Timbers2 can clinch the Pacific Division title with at least one point or if Ventura County FC earns no more than two points. Ventura County FC can claim the division with a win and a Timbers2 loss.
MNUFC2 can clinch a postseason spot with at least one point, or if North Texas SC, Tacoma Defiance or San Jose Earthquakes II earns no more than two points. North Texas SC has seven paths: a win; a shootout win with Tacoma Defiance or San Jose Earthquakes II earning no more than two points; a shootout loss with Tacoma Defiance or San Jose Earthquakes II earning no more than one point; a Tacoma Defiance loss; or a San Jose Earthquakes II loss.
Tacoma Defiance has six postseason paths. They include a win; a shootout win with North Texas SC earning no more than one point or San Jose Earthquakes II earning no more than two points; a shootout loss with North Texas SC losing or San Jose Earthquakes II earning no more than one point; or a San Jose Earthquakes II loss.
San Jose Earthquakes II has seven scenarios. The club qualifies with a win while Tacoma Defiance, North Texas SC or MNUFC2 loses or earns no more than the listed point total; with a shootout win while North Texas SC or Tacoma Defiance earns no more than one point; or with a shootout loss followed by a North Texas SC or Tacoma Defiance loss.

Orlando City B has the clearest route among its seven scenarios: earning at least two points. The club also remains connected to results involving Philadelphia Union II, Connecticut United FC, Huntsville City Football Club and New England Revolution II.
Across MLS NEXT Pro, Decision Day will settle playoff berths, division titles and pick-your-opponent seeds. The Southeast Division race between Crown Legacy Football Club and Chattanooga FC, the crowded Northeast Division race and the Pacific Division battle between Timbers2 and Ventura County FC are among the central outcomes.
