Issah Haruna opened the scoring in the 10th minute as Orlando City B defeated Inter Miami CF II 4-1 on Sept. 4 at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The victory completed Orlando City B’s unbeaten regular-season series against Inter Miami CF II in the MLS NEXT Pro edition of the Florida Derby. Orlando City B entered the match with a 10-9-7 record and 41 points, while Inter Miami CF II entered at 3-18-5 with 15 points.
Orlando City B scored four goals against Inter Miami CF II for the third time this season, its most against any opponent in 2026. Haruna’s goal was his third in Orlando City B’s last three matches and sixth of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season. Orlando City B Builds First-Half Lead
Inter Miami CF II equalized in the 12th minute when Nash Dearmin scored from outside the box. Orlando City B regained the lead in the 25th minute through Harvey Sarajian, who scored his sixth goal of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season. Clovis Archange provided the assist, recording the first professional goal contribution of his career.
Gustavo Caraballo extended Orlando City B’s advantage in the 44th minute on an assist from Haruna. Caraballo’s goal was his sixth of the season and his 10th goal contribution in the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season. Orlando City B took a 3-1 lead into halftime.
Ignacio Gomez Converts Late Penalty
After a scoreless start to the second half, Ignacio Gomez converted a penalty kick in the 82nd minute. The goal was Gomez’s third of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season. His penalty completed Orlando City B’s four-goal performance in Fort Lauderdale.
Sarajian returned to the Orlando City B lineup for his first MLS NEXT Pro appearance since July 5 against Crown Legacy FC. Head coach Eddie Wilding made one change to the starting lineup from Orlando City B’s previous match against Crown Legacy FC, inserting Sarajian into the starting XI. Haruna’s goal left him trailing only Pedro Leão for the team lead, according to the match notes.
