Orlando City B defeated Crown Legacy FC 3-2 Sunday night, Aug. 30, 2026, in Kissimmee, Fla., finishing unbeaten in the three-match regular-season series between the teams. The victory came in Orlando City B’s first home match in more than a month. Orlando City B improved to 9-9-7 with 38 points, while Crown Legacy FC fell to 13-5-7 with 51 points.
Crown Legacy FC took a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute through Adrian Mendoza. After an initial effort struck the post, the rebound fell to Mendoza, who cut toward the center of the box and fired a low shot into the bottom-right corner.
Orlando City B scores three unanswered goals
Issah Haruna equalized in the 31st minute. Pedro Leão played a weighted pass forward for Haruna, who powered a left-footed strike from the top of the box into the lower-left corner. The goal was Haruna’s fifth of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season and his second in as many matches.
Matthew Belgodere put Orlando City B ahead one minute after halftime. The Orlando City Academy player forced a turnover deep in Crown Legacy FC’s defensive third before driving centrally and finishing into the lower-right corner for his fifth goal of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro campaign.
Gustavo Caraballo extended Orlando City B’s lead in the 48th minute. Haruna sent Caraballo through on goal, and Caraballo drew Crown Legacy FC goalkeeper Jahiem Wickham off his line before lifting his shot into the back of the net. It was Caraballo’s fifth goal of the 2026 campaign and seventh of his MLS NEXT Pro career.
Crown Legacy FC pulled within one goal in the 54th minute when a lofted effort to the back post deflected off Orlando City B midfielder Ignacio Gomez and into the net. Orlando City B held firm defensively through the final stages to secure the victory.
Orlando City B prepares for Inter Miami CF II
Pedro Leão recorded his second assist of the season and 10th goal contribution of the 2026 campaign, tying Orlando City SC forward Harvey Sarajian for Orlando City B’s team lead. Belgodere made his 15th professional start, while Justin Hylton made his 35th career MLS NEXT Pro appearance.
Orlando City B head coach Eddie Wilding made two changes to the starting lineup from the previous match against Atlanta United 2, with Clovis Archange and Caraballo entering the starting XI. Orlando City B will face Inter Miami CF II on Friday, Sept. 4, at Inter Miami CF Stadium. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on OneFootball and MLSNEXTPro.com.
