The Miami Dolphins hosted a youth football combine Tuesday at the Hollywood Police Athletic League in Miami Gardens, Florida, as part of the 2026 Football UNITES Jason Jenkins Days of Service. The event brought 78 youth athletes together for football skills and drill competitions. The combine focused on building confidence, sharpening fundamentals and connecting the athletes with their community through football.
Eighteen volunteers led the event, including Miami Dolphins alumni Damian Gregory, Damion McIntosh and Jabaal Sheard. The volunteers worked with the youth athletes throughout the combine. The event used football instruction and competition to support the broader community-service effort.
Honoring Jason Jenkins through Football UNITES
The combine was part of the 2026 Football UNITES Jason Jenkins Days of Service, a month-long initiative honoring Jason Jenkins. Jenkins was the late Miami Dolphins Senior Vice President of Communications and Community Affairs and the creator of Football UNITES. The initiative continues his work of using football to bring people together.
Jason Jenkins Days of Service continues throughout October with additional service projects planned across South Florida. The month will conclude with a service event at Hard Rock Stadium on Oct. 30. That date would have been Jenkins’ 52nd birthday.
