The Florida Gators offensive line was named to the 2025 Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll on Wednesday afternoon. The Joe Moore Award honors the top offensive line unit in college football.

Florida was one of 25 offensive line units named to the midseason list and one of six Southeastern Conference teams recognized. The other SEC teams on the list were Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee.

Florida offensive line earns national recognition

Florida’s starting offensive line consists of Bryce Lovett, Knijeah Harris, Harrison Moore, TJ Shanahan Jr. and Emeka Ugorji. The unit ranks fourth in the SEC in sacks allowed with eight, while Pro Football Focus credits the line with four sacks allowed.

According to Pro Football Focus, the group also has five quarterback hits and 21 quarterback hurries this season. The offensive line has a 70.2 run-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus, which ranks 21st nationally.

Offensive line supports productive Florida attack

The offensive line has helped the Florida Gators rank 12th in the FBS in scoring offense at 41.7 points per game. Florida also ranks 18th in total offense at 473.8 yards per game, 23rd in passing efficiency at 163.77, 25th in passing offense at 273.5 yards per game and 34th in rushing offense at 200.3 yards per game.

Those rankings reflect production in both the passing and rushing phases. They also provide the statistical context for Florida’s inclusion on the Joe Moore Award midseason list.

Florida scheduled to face No. 7 Texas

The Florida Gators are scheduled to play No. 7 Texas on Saturday, Oct. 17, in Austin. The game is scheduled for noon Eastern on ABC.

The 2026 Florida Football season is being played under first-year head coach Jon Sumrall. Single-game tickets are on sale for Florida home games against Oklahoma on Nov. 7 and Vanderbilt on Nov. 21, along with the game against Georgia in Atlanta on Oct. 31.
