The Florida State League section tracks Single-A baseball clubs based across Florida. The Florida State League was organized in 1919 with clubs in cities including Bartow, Bradenton, Lakeland, Orlando, Sanford and Tampa. After periods of inactivity and a World War II suspension, the league became one of Minor League Baseball's longest-running circuits; it was temporarily branded Low-A Southeast in 2021 before the Florida State League name returned in 2022. Generations of future major leaguers have passed through its Florida ballparks.
