Barbra Banda and the Orlando Pride will carry a strong record against Bay FC into Sunday’s road match, with the forward also pursuing a place in club history. The Orlando Pride are unbeaten in five all-time meetings with Bay FC and have won both of their previous visits to PayPal Park, with Banda scoring the game-winning goal each time.

The Orlando Pride will face Bay FC at 7 p.m. ET Sunday, September 27, at PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif. ESPN will televise the NWSL match.

Orlando Pride have controlled the series

The Orlando Pride are 4-0-1 in five all-time meetings with Bay FC. Orlando also won the teams’ most recent meeting, a 3-1 result at Inter&Co Stadium on May 29.

Banda scored the game-winning goal in each of Orlando’s two previous visits to Bay FC. She scored in the 84th minute of a 1-0 win in 2024 and the 58th minute of a 1-0 victory in 2025.

Barbra Banda eyes Pride history

Banda has scored four goals across her last three matches against Bay FC, finding the net in each contest. She has also scored in both of the Orlando Pride’s previous visits to PayPal Park.

A goal Sunday would make Banda the first player in Orlando Pride history to score in four consecutive regular-season matches against one opponent.

California has favored Orlando

The Orlando Pride have won nine of their 12 all-time regular-season matches in California, compiling a 9-1-2 record. Orlando’s .750 winning percentage in road matches in the state is the highest among NWSL clubs.

The Pride’s most recent trip to California ended with a 2-0 loss to Angel City FC on July 3. Sunday’s match gives Orlando a chance to add to its strong road record in the state.

Ally Lemos builds on first NWSL goal

Ally Lemos scored against the Portland Thorns on September 19 for her first career NWSL regular-season goal. It was also her second goal across all competitions for the Orlando Pride.

The 21-year-old midfielder scored with a curling right-footed strike from the top of the box, trimming Portland’s lead in half. Her goal adds another milestone to the Pride’s list of storylines for Sunday’s match.

More appearance milestones ahead

Marta made her 150th NWSL regular-season appearance for the Orlando Pride against the Portland Thorns, extending her club record. Haley McCutcheon also reached a significant mark in that match, becoming the second player in club history to reach 100 regular-season appearances with Orlando.

Kerry Abello is next in line for a milestone. Her next appearance will be her 100th regular-season appearance with the Orlando Pride.

FSB Take

The Orlando Pride enter Sunday’s match with an unbeaten series record, a 9-1-2 all-time regular-season mark in California and Barbra Banda’s consistent scoring history against Bay FC. Banda’s potential record would add individual significance to a matchup in which Orlando has won both previous visits to PayPal Park. The milestones involving Ally Lemos, Marta, Haley McCutcheon and Kerry Abello give the Pride several additional developments to watch.
