The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels’ doubleheader against the Bradenton Marauders was canceled Sunday, Aug. 30, after two and a half innings at Lee Health Sports Complex in Fort Myers, Florida.
The schedule was reduced to a single nine-inning contest after a nearly two-hour weather delay delayed the start of the afternoon. Bradenton led 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning when a second weather delay began, and the contest was canceled after another hour-long delay.
Neither game will be made up. The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels’ final three home games of the 2026 campaign were washed out, bringing the season total to four cancellations, all at home. It was the third consecutive home finale to be rained out.
