Mosley High School defeated Rickards High School 49-14 on October 17, 2026, to remain unbeaten at 7-0. The Dolphins won the rescheduled district matchup by 35 points. Quarterback JP Holsombake led the passing attack with four touchdown throws.
Holsombake and Halstead lead the offense
Holsombake finished with 232 passing yards, according to the MaxPreps recap and High School On SI. Ga’Marcus Halstead recorded 104 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the MaxPreps report. Their production gave Mosley a substantial offensive foundation in another decisive victory.
The 49-point output followed a 35-7 win over Leon in Mosley’s previous game listed by MaxPreps. The earlier results listed by MaxPreps also included a 36-0 win and a 28-9 win. Those results place the Rickards game within a broader run of successful performances.
Perfect record survives another district test
Remaining unbeaten gives Mosley a strong record entering the final portion of its regular season. It does not remove the need to keep improving before postseason competition. The next useful measure will be whether the Dolphins can repeat their execution against their remaining opponents.
FSB Take
Mosley took care of a district assignment with the kind of margin a contender wants. Holsombake’s four touchdown passes and Halstead’s three receiving scores provide the clearest individual highlights. The larger story is a Dolphins team that continues to protect its unbeaten record while producing points consistently.
