Armwood High School defeated Bloomingdale High School 38-3 on October 16, 2026, for its sixth consecutive victory. The Hawks improved to 7-1 with the road win. Quarterback Rondai Dile accounted for five touchdowns in a commanding Hillsborough County performance.
Dile produces through the air and on the ground
Dile passed for 155 yards and two touchdowns, according to High School On SI. He added 84 rushing yards and three touchdowns on nine carries. Armwood paired that quarterback production with a defense that held Bloomingdale to three points.
MaxPreps reported that the final score was already in place at the end of the third quarter. The victory followed Armwood’s 14-7 win over Tampa Bay Tech. The Hawks therefore followed a close result with a much wider margin.
Open Division projection remains provisional
High School On SI’s October 19 playoff analysis placed Armwood seventh in its projected eight-team Open Division field using October 18 ratings. That projection was a snapshot, not a final playoff berth. Remaining regular-season results can change the field before selections are finalized.
FSB Take
Armwood’s ability to score through both parts of Dile’s game gives opponents more to prepare for. Holding Bloomingdale to three points made the win especially convincing. The Hawks have strengthened their position, but the correct focus remains finishing the regular season before treating any projection as settled.
