Freshman forward Jaycie Noble was selected as Polk State College Women’s Soccer’s Eagle of the Month for September 2026 after scoring twice in a 2-1 victory over No. 13 Eastern Florida State College. The Polk State Athletics Eagle of the Month Committee selected Noble for the honor. The announcement was made Oct. 6.
Noble, a Callahan, Florida, native, played in all five matches for Polk State during September. The source credited her with four goals, one assist, nine points, 22 shots and eight shots on goal over six contests. Noble is Polk State’s top scorer and ranked third in the FCSAA in goals with seven, fourth in points with 15 and shots with 32, and seventh in shots on goal with 14 at the time of the announcement.
“Jaycie is a phenomenal player with a very bright future,” Head Coach Dee Shivraman said. “As the competition level has ramped up, Jaycie has taken her game to a new level. It’s been incredible to watch.”
Noble produced in key September matches
Noble scored in consecutive matches against New College of Florida JV on Sept. 4 and Pasco-Hernando State College on Sept. 5. Polk State defeated Pasco-Hernando State College 7-1, with Noble assisting on one of Oriana Moreno’s three goals. Noble then scored both of Polk State’s goals in the second half of the 2-1 victory over No. 13 Eastern Florida State College on Sept. 30.
The victory marked Polk State’s first road win in its series against Eastern Florida State College since 2010. Noble also became the first Polk State player to score two goals in a conference match since Marcella Koasne scored twice in a 5-2 victory at Daytona State College on Oct. 8, 2022. Her September performances helped establish her among the FCSAA’s statistical leaders.
“Jaycie’s performance this month is a reflection of the talent, determination, and competitive spirit that define Polk State Athletics,” Polk State President Anastasios Kamoutsas said. “Her success on the field brings great pride to our College community, and we look forward to watching her continue to grow and make her mark as a Polk State Eagle.”
Polk State’s schedule continues in October
Polk State College Women’s Soccer is scheduled to face Monroe Community College at a neutral site in Melbourne on Oct. 10. The source lists Monroe Community College as No. 11 for that match. Polk State is scheduled to play Daytona State College on Oct. 14.
Polk State Director of Athletics Randy Lee said Noble has shown an ability to perform against elite competition. “We’re fortunate to have high-caliber student-athletes like Jaycie who can rise to the occasion against elite competition,” Lee said. “I’m excited to see what she can do for an encore.”
FSB Take
Noble’s recognition connects her September production with Polk State’s 2-1 victory over No. 13 Eastern Florida State College. Her two-goal performance also carried a verified conference milestone for Polk State. The October matches against Monroe Community College and Daytona State College are the next listed opportunities for the Eagles and their leading scorer.
