Florida heads to NCAA South Regional
Florida will continue the postseason at the NCAA Cross Country South Regional Championship on Nov. 13 in Tallahassee, Florida. The meet is the next listed competition for the Gators’ women’s and men’s cross country teams. Florida enters the regional after placing both teams in the top three at the SEC Championship.
FSB Take
Florida’s SEC results provide a clear postseason benchmark for both squads. The women combined two top-six finishes with an 80-point runner-up result, while the men paired a third-place finish with Cheruiyot’s record-setting individual title. The Nov. 13 regional in Tallahassee will be the next competition for teams that produced top-three conference finishes and multiple high individual placements.
