96.1 Jamz has renewed its partnership with Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University football as the program’s official radio home for the 2026 season. The agreement includes live game-day broadcasts on FM radio and through streaming platforms. The announcement was made Aug. 28, 2026.
Fans can stream every game live through the 96.1 Jamz mobile app and at 961jamz.com. The broadcasts will provide access to FAMU football games for listeners on the radio and online. The agreement extends the partnership between 96.1 Jamz and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
John F. Davis, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University’s vice president and director of athletics, said the partnership with Cumulus Media will extend Rattler football and athletics coverage across the Big Bend region.
“We’re proud to finalize this partnership with Cumulus Media, extending Rattler football and athletics coverage across the Big Bend region. This agreement reflects our commitment to giving Rattler fans, students, alumni, and surrounding communities access to the broadcasts they count on. Cumulus has been a strong partner throughout this process, and we look forward to building on that relationship,” Davis said.
Bryan Fulford, Al Chester to Call FAMU Football Games
Bryan Fulford will provide play-by-play coverage for the broadcasts. Former Rattler standout Al Chester will serve as the color analyst. Together, they will provide coverage of FAMU football games during the 2026 season.
