Florida International University Athletics will induct six individuals into its Hall of Fame during its annual ceremony Nov. 6 at the Graham Center Ballrooms on the university campus in Miami. The event will kick off Homecoming Weekend, and the Class of 2026 will be recognized again at FIU’s football homecoming game against Missouri State on Nov. 7. The game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
The inductees are Carlos Arroyo ’01 of men’s basketball, Mike Becker ’89 of cross country and track and field, Johanna Gustafsdottir ’15 of swimming, Albert ‘Al’ Lorenzo ’74 as a sports contributor, Michele O’Brien ’01 of women’s soccer and Nick Turnbull ’05 of football. O’Brien will accept the induction virtually. The ceremony will be available via livestream at fiusports.com/WatchHOF.

The evening begins with a 5:30 p.m. VIP reception at the Faculty Club. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Graham Center Ballrooms for the cocktail reception and passed appetizers, followed by dinner service at 7:15 p.m. and induction speeches at 7:45 p.m.

Parking is assigned by attendee category. VIP parking is in Lot 2A, inductee parking is in Lot 2B and guest parking is in PG1. The arrangements provide separate locations for the ceremony’s VIPs, inductees and guests.
