The Orlando Valkyries have re-signed volleyball middle blocker Natalie Foster during Major League Volleyball free agency. Foster, who wears No. 13, earned MLV All-Star recognition in 2026 and agreed to return to Orlando on June 4, 2026.
Foster is a 6-foot-4 middle blocker from Mattawan, Michigan, with two years of professional experience. She has played for the Orlando Valkyries since 2025 and was an MLV champion that season. Foster played collegiately at SMU and Wichita State.
Foster’s 2026 production
Foster recorded 52 aces and 37 blocks during the 2026 campaign. She finished third in Major League Volleyball in hitting efficiency at .360. Her 2026 performance also earned her a place on the MLV All-Star team.
Foster’s serving production has been a significant part of her professional profile. She is the only active MLV player with 100 career aces and owns the league record for most aces in a single season, with 64 in 2025. Foster was drafted 14th overall in the 2024 draft.
College career at SMU and Wichita State
Foster played at SMU in 2024, ranking third in the ACC with a .360 hitting percentage. She also set SMU program records for total aces with 64 and aces per set with .54. Foster received AVCA Southwest All-Region Honorable Mention and was named to the All-ACC Second Team.
At Wichita State from 2021 through 2023, Foster was a two-time All-American Athletic Conference selection in 2022 and 2023. She was also a two-time AVCA All-Region North selection in those seasons. Foster earned Second-Team All-AAC honors in 2021 and led AAC middles with 197 kills in conference play that year.
Foster’s place with the Orlando Valkyries
Foster’s return keeps an experienced middle blocker with the Orlando Valkyries. Her professional record includes an MLV championship in 2025, an All-Star selection in 2026 and a league-record 64 aces in a single season.
Her 2026 totals also show contributions in several areas. Foster recorded 52 aces and 37 blocks while finishing third in the league in hitting efficiency at .360. She enters the next phase of her Orlando tenure as the only active MLV player with 100 career aces.
FSB Take
Natalie Foster gives the Orlando Valkyries a returning middle blocker with verified production at the service line, at the net and in attack. Her 2026 All-Star season included 52 aces, 37 blocks and a third-place finish in MLV hitting efficiency, while her career includes the league’s single-season aces record. Re-signing Foster preserves a player who has been with Orlando since 2025 and remains one of Major League Volleyball’s notable serving threats.
