Florida Atlantic University Athletics featured Dominique Henry and moments from Florida Atlantic football, Florida Atlantic women’s tennis, Florida Atlantic swimming and diving and Florida Atlantic women’s soccer in its Sept. 29 edition of Owlflics of the Week.
The weekly photo gallery highlighted Florida Atlantic football’s 45-17 road win over ULM. Henry caught eight passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the victory, including the touchdown shown in the feature.
Henry, Valsin highlighted after ULM win
Henry also appeared with Kelby Valsin in a photo celebrating their performances at ULM. The duo became the program’s 12th wide receiver combination to each record at least 100 receiving yards in the same game, according to the feature.
The gallery did not provide Valsin’s individual receiving total. It instead focused on the shared achievement and the photos from Florida Atlantic’s road victory.
Gallery includes tennis, swimming and diving, soccer
Florida Atlantic women’s tennis freshman Anastasiya Kolyada was pictured with her trophy after winning the Bedford Cup Tournament B singles flight, hosted by South Florida. Her photo added an individual tournament achievement to the weekly collection.
Jayden Repak was featured during Florida Atlantic swimming and diving’s home opener at the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex. Florida Atlantic women’s soccer also appeared in the gallery, with Hailey Santiago featured during the team’s Sunday evening match against Memphis and Lily Paisant shown during the team’s midweek game at UAB.
The feature was presented by Baptist Health South Florida. It brought together photos from the Florida Atlantic Owls’ football, women’s tennis, swimming and diving and women’s soccer programs.
FSB Take
Florida Atlantic University Athletics’ weekly gallery connected the Owls’ football win over ULM with individual and team moments from three other programs. Henry’s two-touchdown performance and the shared receiving milestone with Valsin provided the clearest statistical highlights, while Kolyada’s Bedford Cup singles-flight win added a tennis accomplishment.
The appearances by Repak, Santiago and Paisant broadened the feature across Florida Atlantic’s athletics programs without adding results from the swimming and diving or women’s soccer events.
