The New York Yankees traded Matheus to the Miami Marlins on Jan. 13, 2026, as part of the package for left-handed pitcher Ryan Weathers. His organizational award came after a season in which he played at three levels of the Marlins’ system.
Etzel leads Jacksonville in multiple categories

The Orioles traded him to the Tampa Bay Rays on July 26, 2024, and the Rays sent him to the Miami Marlins on July 29, 2025, in exchange for catcher Nick Fortes.

Compton played 125 games between Beloit, Pensacola and Jacksonville after moving from High-A to Pensacola on June 30 and from Double-A to Jacksonville on Sept. 2.
Compton batted .246/.348/.456/.805 in 15 games with Jacksonville, adding three doubles, three home runs, nine RBIs, nine walks, 10 runs and five stolen bases. His four stolen bases on Sept. 3 at Norfolk tied the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp era single-game team record from 2017 to the present.
FSB Take
The four awards reflect contributions from players at different points in the Miami Marlins’ minor league system.
