Genesis Hernandez earned the Sunshine State Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award after scoring three goals across two matches for Nova Southeastern University women’s soccer during the week ending Sept. 7, 2026.
Hernandez scored the game-tying goal in Nova Southeastern University’s 2-2 draw against Flagler. She followed with two goals in a 3-1 victory over Texas A&M International, including the insurance goal in the 90th minute.
Hernandez finished the week with 11 shots on goal. Her three goals moved her into the top 10 in Nova Southeastern University women’s soccer history with 24 career goals.
