Reigning ASUN Golfer of the Year Isaki Sakashita leads the five-player lineup for head coach Teresa Brown. The season-opening group also includes Anna Huettl, Bridget Butler, Maggie Potash and Cincinnati transfer Clara Willem.
Sakashita leads Stetson’s lineup
Sakashita earned First Team All-ASUN honors for the second consecutive season in 2025-26 and advanced to the NCAA Tallahassee Regional as an individual. She and Huettl also qualified for and competed in the 126th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship this summer. Their appearances add national championship experience to the Stetson lineup.
Butler finished tied for fourth at the Women’s National Golf Invitational after shooting a 3-under 69 in the final round. She finished the event at 1-over par with a 217 total. Potash returns for her second season with Stetson after gaining postseason experience as a freshman.
Four newcomers join the roster
Willem will make her Stetson debut after competing at Cincinnati during the 2025-26 season. She is one of four newcomers on the roster, along with transfer Rachel Gomez and freshmen Maya Burmann and Abigail Lee. Elizabeth Eberle is the lone senior returning to the Stetson roster.
Stetson enters the season after a campaign that included four tournament victories, a runner-up finish at the ASUN Championship, four All-ASUN selections and the program’s first NCAA Regional individual qualifier under Brown.
