The Tampa Bay Lightning signed forward Jansen Harkins to a one-year, two-way contract, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced July 3, 2026.
Harkins, 29, appeared in 44 games for the Anaheim Ducks during the 2025-26 season. He recorded three goals and eight points for Anaheim.
Jansen Harkins Brings NHL and AHL Experience
The Cleveland, Ohio, native has played in 305 career NHL games for the Anaheim Ducks, Pittsburgh Penguins and Winnipeg Jets. Harkins has recorded 18 goals and 45 points in those games.
Harkins also has played in 225 career AHL games, recording 62 goals and 161 points. He represented the Manitoba Moose in the 2019-20 AHL All-Star Game.
The Winnipeg Jets selected Harkins in the second round, 47th overall, of the 2015 NHL Draft. He joins the Tampa Bay Lightning on a one-year, two-way contract.
