Alanis Molina was selected as the Santa Fe Saints’ Tuesday Teammate of the Week after completing her first season with Santa Fe Volleyball in October 2026. The 5-foot-6 libero and defensive specialist from West Palm Beach, Florida, finished the season with 23 matches played. She recorded 141 total digs, 290 total serve receptions, three kills and seven assists.
Molina contributed on court and in student-athlete leadership
Molina attended The King’s Academy before joining Santa Fe. Her previous achievements include 2024 All-Star honors, a 2024 AAU national championship, a 2025 AAU national runner-up finish and 2025 All-County honorable mention recognition from The Palm Beach Post and The Sun Sentinel. She also played AAU volleyball for Jupiter Elite.
Molina chose Santa Fe for its environment, team culture and welcoming people in the program. She is working toward a marketing degree and serves on Santa Fe’s Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Molina is the first-year representative for the volleyball team and participates in the committee’s meetings.
UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors the Teammate of the Week selection across Santa Fe’s five sports teams. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council, Santa Fe sport-specific coaches and the athletic director nominate candidates for the award. The honor recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate the character qualities represented by SAINTS: Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful and Safe.
FSB Take
Molina’s selection connects her defensive production with her involvement in Santa Fe’s student-athlete leadership structure. Her 141 digs and 290 serve receptions defined her on-court contribution during her first season, while her committee role gave the volleyball team a first-year representative. The honor recognizes both parts of her role within the Santa Fe Saints program.
