Bianca Hanks and Selena Placide were named Second Team All-Citrus Conference by the FCSAA on Oct. 30, 2026. The Santa Fe Saints volleyball players were recognized after contributing on defense, at the service line and at the net. The announcement was made from Tallahassee.

Hanks leads Santa Fe defense

Hanks earned the honor in her first season at Santa Fe after redshirting in 2025. The Miami libero played in all 24 matches and totaled 354 digs, averaging 4.21 digs per set. She also recorded 537 service receptions.

Hanks added 41 service aces while averaging 0.49 aces per set. She was named the FCSAA DI Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 14. Her performances included a 3-1 win against State College of Florida, a 3-1 loss against No. 3 Florida SouthWestern and a 3-1 win against Eastern Florida.

Placide contributes at the net

Placide, a second-year middle from Orlando, played in 22 matches this season. She recorded 121 kills and hit .180 for the Saints. Placide also collected 21 solo blocks and 72 block assists.

Those numbers gave Placide production in both the attack and the blocking game. Her work helped establish her as a contributor at the net for Santa Fe. The All-Citrus honor recognized her role alongside Hanks.

Head coach Bailey Coleman praised both players for earning conference recognition. “I am so proud of Bianca and Selena for earning All-Conference honors! Your commitment, perseverance, and passion for the game have paid off,” Coleman said. “You represented our program with excellence, and we couldn’t be prouder. Congratulations, ladies — well deserved! You will be missed dearly!”

FSB Take

Santa Fe’s two selections reflect distinct areas of production from its volleyball program. Hanks handled a substantial defensive and serve-receive workload while also contributing 41 aces, and Placide paired 121 kills with 93 combined solo blocks and block assists. Their recognition gives the Saints representation from both the back row and the middle at the Citrus Conference level.
