JetBlue and the Florida Panthers unveiled the special-edition “Go Cats Go” Airbus A320 on Nov. 5 at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The aircraft features Panthers colors, logos and team history as part of the organizations’ expanded South Florida partnership. Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Zito, captain Aleksander Barkov and forward Brad Marchand attended the unveiling.

The aircraft replaces JetBlue’s signature blue look with a Panthers-inspired design. Panthers red covers the body, while the Panthers shield logo appears on the tail in navy and gold. The white belly features bold “FLORIDA” lettering and the team’s leaping cat logo on the underside.

Additional details connect the aircraft to the Panthers and South Florida. The design includes the Panthers’ simplified Florida flag near the front, matching the logo worn on the team’s jersey shoulders. A palm tree and hockey stick also reference the Panthers’ historic secondary logo.

Stanley C. Panther and Viktor E. Ratt greeted customers traveling on the aircraft’s first flight out of Florida. Passengers received JetBlue and Florida Panthers luggage tags and special giveaways for the aircraft’s debut. The unveiling took place as JetBlue and the Panthers highlighted their broader commitment to the region.

JetBlue President Marty St. George said Fort Lauderdale was the airline’s first destination when it began service in 2000. He said the airline is the largest carrier at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, with more than 150 peak daily departures to more than 60 nonstop destinations in winter. “South Florida has been part of JetBlue’s story since our very first flight more than two decades ago, and we’re continuing to build on that history in a big way as Broward County’s largest airline,” St. George said.

“The Panthers know a thing or two about winning in South Florida, and we’re bringing that same energy as we expand our network, elevate the customer experience and deepen our commitment to the community,” St. George said. “‘Go Cats Go’ is a fun way to celebrate our shared passion for South Florida and team up with a franchise that knows how to make some noise.” The source describes the Panthers as back-to-back 2024 and 2025 Stanley Cup champions.

Partnership extends beyond the aircraft

JetBlue is the presenting partner of the Champions Club and JetBlue Landing at Amerant Bank Arena. The airline and the Panthers also continue their community partnership through initiatives including the Panthers’ Reading Challenge. That initiative encourages thousands of Broward County Public Schools students to read and rewards winning schools with books, celebrations and special Panthers experiences.

Zito said the aircraft gives Panthers fans, local residents and visitors a way to experience the region through a South Florida design. “‘Go Cats Go’ offers a unique opportunity for us to welcome Panthers fans, locals and visitors to our region onboard a truly South Florida aircraft and to deepen our longstanding partnership with JetBlue,” Zito said. “Our shared investment in South Florida makes this a natural way to support our community year-round.”

FSB Take

The aircraft gives the Panthers’ partnership with JetBlue a visible presence beyond Amerant Bank Arena. Its design connects the team to the airline’s Fort Lauderdale operation, while the first-flight giveaways and mascot appearances add a direct fan-engagement component. The Reading Challenge and arena partnership also show that the relationship includes community and in-person programming alongside the aircraft branding.
