Inter Miami CF attacker Leo Messi was named to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday presented by Audi for Matchday 34 of the 2026 regular season. Messi earned the honor for the 13th time this season after Inter Miami CF defeated the New England Revolution 1-2 Sunday night at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. He was directly involved in both goals of the road comeback.
Messi provided a headed assist for Germán Berterame in the 69th minute to tie the match. He then scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute after combining with Telasco Segovia. The performance secured Messi’s latest Team of the Matchday selection.
