Inter Miami CF will feature Miami native and Homegrown defender Ian Fray in Vol. 3 of The Huddle, the club’s in-app live chat presented by Nu. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 12 p.m. ET through the Official Inter Miami CF App. Fans will be able to ask Fray questions and receive answers in real time.

The Huddle sessions run for 30-45 minutes and connect supporters with Inter Miami CF players inside the app. Fans who want to participate can download the Official Inter Miami CF App and turn on notifications for updates. Inter Miami fans in the United States can also sign up at nu.com to learn more about Nu’s story and products.

Fray represents Inter Miami’s development pathway

Fray’s appearance will highlight a player with a direct connection to the club and the Miami community. The Miami native progressed through Inter Miami CF’s player development pathway from the Academy to the First Team, where he became an important member of the club. He was also part of Inter Miami’s history while the club won its first five titles.

The live format will give supporters an opportunity to engage with a Homegrown defender whose career has developed within Inter Miami CF’s system. The session is a fan conversation rather than a matchday event, with questions submitted through the app. The club also said more players will join future editions of The Huddle.

Reguilon’s Vol. 2 chat covered his career

Vol. 2 featured Spanish left back Sergio Reguilon, who discussed his childhood admiration for Roberto Carlos and their friendship. Reguilon said, “When I was a kid, I really looked up to Roberto Carlos; fortunately, he’s a good friend of mine now. Whenever he comes to Miami, we always grab a coffee… I loved the way he played, the way he competed, and the way he struck the ball—he was a role model for me when I was young.” He also explained that he began as a left winger in Real Madrid’s youth academy before moving to left back.

Reguilon said he played one match as a center back for Real Madrid Castilla but considers left back his true position. He also discussed playing at Nu Stadium, saying, “I was lucky enough to be among the first to play there, and it feels great—it’s a top-tier stadium. It feels like home, with the fans very close by, and personally, I love it.” His other topics included his playing career, life after soccer and the possibility of coaching, which he said he does not plan to pursue.

Reguilon’s advice for young players focused on consistency, sacrifice and work ethic. “One piece of advice I can offer is that those who work the hardest and show the most consistency go further than those who rely solely on talent and just coast along,” he said. He also said he enjoys watching the NBA, attending Dolphins games when possible, following Carlos Alcaraz in tennis and watching golf during major tournaments.

FSB Take

Fray’s selection places Inter Miami’s Academy-to-First Team pathway at the center of the club’s next live fan interaction. His Miami background and connection to the club’s first five titles give the session a locally rooted focus. The key access point for supporters is the Official Inter Miami CF App, with Vol. 3 scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 12 p.m. ET.
