Inaugural weekend drew patrons from 27 states
The inaugural She is Football Weekend drew patrons from 27 states and featured two days of sold-out events. Nearly 800 female leaders attended the She is Football Summit, presented by Fifth Third Bank, while more than 3,000 participants took part in the She is Football 5K Run, Walk & Stroll.
"We were incredibly moved by the response we received from our inaugural She is Football Weekend last year and we look forward to building on that success in the year ahead," said Darcie Glazer Kassewitz. "Our mission is to develop 50,000 female leaders annually, and my family is honored to be part of a community that shares and supports that vision. We remain committed to advancing these efforts and look forward to making 2026 an even more impactful event."
Funds raised from the 5K and the weekend will support programming designed to keep young girls in sports. The Buccaneers said 94% of women in executive positions have played youth sports, while the dropout rate for girls in youth sports is double the rate for boys.
"Jabil is proud to once again partner with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to empower the next generation of leaders," said Tuba Kuklen. "She is Football brings together women of different backgrounds and experiences to learn from one another, inspire new ideas, and gain the confidence to pursue their biggest goals — making an impact on our communities that extends far beyond a single weekend."
