UCF men’s golf opened the 2026-27 season by tying for fourth at the Island Resort Intercollegiate, finishing at 12-under-par with a total score of 852. Camden Goldknopf led the Knights by placing fifth individually at 10-under-par with a score of 206.
South Dakota State hosted the tournament at Sage Run Golf Course in Harris, Michigan. The field played three rounds over two days on the par-72 course. Goldknopf opened with a 4-under-par first round, followed with a 70 in the second round and closed with a 68 in the final round.
Camden Goldknopf leads UCF
Goldknopf’s final round included an eagle on the ninth hole. His 10-under-par total secured fifth place individually and led UCF’s tournament performance.
Hans Risvaer finished tied for 15th at 3-under-par with a score of 213. Brodie Cunningham made his UCF debut and tied for 23rd after opening the tournament with a 2-under-par first round.
Jakub Hejlek carded a 2-under-par second round. Freshman Zilin Gao made his collegiate debut for UCF, while Joshua Stephens, Henry Dao and Ilan Dufrenoy competed as individuals. Dufrenoy opened his first tournament as a Knight with an even-par 72.
UCF men’s golf returns at Bearcat Invitational
UCF men’s golf is scheduled to return to competition at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Sept. 14-15, 2026.
