Inter Miami CF Academy U-16 goalkeeper Levi Williams was named to the 44-player 2026 MLS NEXT All-Star roster on June 24, earning a place in the East vs. West MLS NEXT All-Star Game.
Williams will represent Inter Miami CF Academy at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex in Matthews, North Carolina, on Monday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The event will stream live on MLS’ YouTube channel and MLSsoccer.com.
The Trinidad and Tobago youth international learned about the selection when his mother and brother surprised him. Williams said the honor reflected the work he has put in throughout his time with the Academy.
“It means a lot to me. It was a really good season. I think I played very well and it’s a great honor to be selected,” said Willaims. “I’ve really worked very hard throughout the Academy, it’s been a great experience and I hope to do my best in this MLS NEXT All-Star game.”
Williams becomes eighth Inter Miami CF Academy All-Star
Williams became the eighth Inter Miami CF Academy player named to the MLS NEXT All-Star Game in five years. Israel Boatwright, Benjamin Cremaschi and Kobi Thomas were selected in 2022, followed by Tyler Hall in 2023, Cai McLean in 2024, and Quinton John and Nash Dearmin in 2025.
The 15-year-old goalkeeper also featured multiple times for the Trinidad and Tobago youth ranks. During the 2026 Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, Williams registered two clean sheets in four matches.
Williams made his professional debut with Inter Miami CF II against Carolina Core FC. He made six saves and stopped two penalties in the shootout to help Inter Miami CF II secure two points.
