Inter Miami CF Academy goalkeeper Levi Williams started in goal for the East and kept a clean sheet during the opening 45 minutes as the East defeated the West 6-1 in the 2026 MLS NEXT All-Star Game Monday night. Williams represented Inter Miami CF at the event after participating in several MLS NEXT All-Star training sessions. He was replaced at halftime before the East completed the victory.
Williams becomes eighth Inter Miami CF Academy All-Star
Williams became the eighth Inter Miami CF Academy player named to the MLS NEXT All-Star Game in five years. The previous selections listed in the source are Israel Boatwright, Benjamin Cremaschi and Kobi Thomas in 2022; Tyler Hall in 2023; Cai McLean in 2024; and Quinton John and Nash Dearmin in 2025.
Williams also shared a joint MLS NEXT and MLS All-Star event with Inter Miami CF First Team midfielder Yannick Bright. Bright was set for the MLS All-Star Game while Williams competed in the MLS NEXT All-Star Game.
Williams adds international and professional experience
The 16-year-old goalkeeper has featured multiple times for the Trinidad and Tobago youth ranks. He recorded two clean sheets in four matches during the 2026 Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Williams also made his professional debut with Inter Miami CF II against Carolina Core FC. He made six saves and stopped two penalties in the shootout, helping Inter Miami CF II secure two points.
