Orlando City B has signed defender Parker Amoo-Mensah to an MLS NEXT Pro contract through the 2028 season, the club announced on June 12, 2026. The 18-year-old defender, who progressed from the Orlando City Academy, has made a significant impact since debuting professionally on March 8, 2026, against Chicago Fire FC II.
Amoo-Mensah has appeared in 12 MLS NEXT Pro matches for Orlando City B, starting in eight. He recorded his first professional assist on March 14, 2026, setting up a goal by teammate Harvey Sarajian in a match against Carolina Core FC. At 5 feet 11 inches and hailing from Lisle, Illinois, he continues to develop under the club’s pathway from youth to professional ranks.
Ricardo Moreira, Orlando City SC General Manager and Sporting Director, praised Amoo-Mensah’s leadership and progression within the club’s development system. “He has shown consistency, discipline and hunger, and he understands what he needs to embrace each day to continue pushing toward the professional level,” Moreira said. “Signing his first contract marks a significant step in his development along our pathway, and we’re excited to see him continue his progress with OCB.”
