The Tampa Bay Rowdies have announced a community outreach initiative in partnership with Toys for Tots ahead of their first playoff match against Birmingham Legion FC on October 21, 2023. The men’s USL Championship soccer team will host a toy drive at Al Lang Stadium, encouraging fans to donate toys before the game.
Donation bins will be located in front of the stadium for fans to drop off new toys. Each donation will enter contributors into a raffle for a chance to win exclusive Rowdies giveaway items, with winners announced the night of the match.
Recommended donation items include basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, beauty accessories, Barbie dolls, action figures, board games, toy cars and Hot Wheels, books, art supplies, Lego sets, stuffed animals, doll house sets, Nerf products, Disney toys, and kinetic sand.
This initiative reflects the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ commitment to community engagement while preparing to face Birmingham Legion FC in the upcoming USL Championship playoff game at their home venue, Al Lang Stadium.
