Cameron Johnson scored twice as New College of Florida Men’s Soccer rallied from a 2-0 deficit to draw Dalton State (GA) 3-3 on September 7, 2026, at the Grizzly Soccer Complex in Lawrenceville. Johnson scored twice in less than seven minutes, turning the match in favor of the Mighty Banyans after halftime. New College of Florida entered the match with a 0-2-1 record and earned its first result of the season.
Dalton State (GA) took the lead in the 24th minute when Bruno Conto scored. David Saldana doubled the advantage in the 52nd minute on assists from Jonathan Mindegaard and Jack Kuspert. New College of Florida then scored three consecutive second-half goals to take a 3-2 lead.
Johnson completes New College of Florida comeback

Emmanuel Beltran makes first career start
Emmanuel Beltran made his first career start as a New College of Florida Mighty Banyan and played all 90 minutes. The freshman goalkeeper allowed three goals and made seven saves. New College of Florida recorded four shots on goal, while Dalton State (GA) recorded 11.
Jeannestin finished with three shots and one shot on goal. Johnson recorded two shots and two shots on goal, while Micah Nelson added one shot and one shot on goal. Cuba Soerensen also recorded one shot.
