The Tampa Bay Rays announced that their 2026 baseball home opener against the Chicago Cubs at Tropicana Field is sold out. The game is scheduled for Monday, April 6, with first pitch set for 4:10 p.m. The sellout will mark the Rays’ 20th consecutive sold-out home opener, excluding the 2020 season, which was played without fans.

The first 10,000 fans at the home opener will receive a Schedule Magnet presented by Orlando Health. Orlando Health is also presenting the 2026 Tampa Bay Rays season. Tickets remain available for the rest of the homestand against the Chicago Cubs on April 7-8, while limited tickets are available for the New York Yankees series on April 10-12.

Rays announce April promotions and broadcast details

Fans who purchase a ticket to a Tampa Bay Rays home game during April will receive $10 in Burst Bucks per ticket in their Rays Wallet through the First One’s On Us promotion. The Tampa Bay Rays will also offer 12-ounce draft beers for $9.34, or $10 after tax, as part of the promotion. Burst Bucks will be available when gates open and will expire five hours after first pitch for each game.

The home opener will be televised on Rays.TV presented by Union Home Mortgage. Tampa Bay Rays games are available on WDAE 95.7 FM/620 AM and stream for free on iHeart Radio in Tampa Bay, with Spanish-language broadcasts available on WQBN Super Q 106.7 FM/1300 AM. Fans can receive Rays Rush ticket alerts by texting RAYS to 42086.

Tickets for other 2026 games can be purchased through the Ballpark app or online at RaysBaseball.com. Tampa Bay Rays season memberships are also available at Tropicana Field.
