Orlando City Soccer Club Academy celebrated significant academic and athletic achievements for its student-athletes during the 2025-2026 school year, continuing its partnership with SAI Academy, the club’s Official Pre-College Partner. With a combined focus on soccer performance and education, the academy supported 63 student-athletes who maintained an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.66.
Thirteen seniors graduated from the program, of whom six committed to prestigious colleges, including the University of Louisville, Stanford University, Northwestern University, the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Stetson University, and Boston University. Impressively, seven seniors also signed professional contracts.
Jose Campos, Academy Director for Orlando City Soccer Club, emphasized the dual commitment to athletic and academic development. “Our focus goes beyond performance in soccer. We are equally committed to their academic development, helping create opportunities for college pathways and giving our players the tools they need to succeed in whatever direction they choose,” Campos said.
SAI Academy provides a modern educational approach that integrates technology, evidence-based learning, and community feedback to support NCAA eligibility and college preparation for all athletes. Sarah Chadwick, Director of Academics at SAI Academy, expressed pride in the student-athletes’ accomplishments, noting the dedication required to balance high-level athletic competition with meaningful academic progress.
“We are incredibly proud of our Orlando City SC Academy student-athletes and all they accomplished this year. Their success reflects the discipline, consistency, and commitment it takes to balance the demands of a high-level athletic environment with meaningful academic progress,” Chadwick said. “It has been rewarding to see each student-athlete continue to grow, meet important milestones, and take ownership of their education. We are grateful to the club, families, coaches, and support staff who help make that success possible, and we look forward to seeing what this group accomplishes next.”
