Mullens attended Southern Mississippi from 2013-16 and was named the 2015 Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year. That season, he set Southern Mississippi single-season school records with 4,476 passing yards and 38 touchdown passes.
Jalen McLeod returns from injured reserve season
McLeod, 24, spent the 2025 season on the injured reserve list. Jacksonville originally drafted him in the sixth round, 194th overall, of the 2025 draft. He is listed as the Jaguars’ No. 35 linebacker at 6-1 and 236 pounds.
A Washington, D.C., native, McLeod attended Appalachian State from 2020-22 before transferring to Auburn for the 2023-24 seasons. He set career highs in 2024 with 57 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss and 8.0 sacks in 12 games.
