Florida International University Athletics Women’s Soccer will host Howard at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at Leyva Family Field at FIU Soccer Stadium. Howard went 9-7-3 overall and 7-2-2 in NEC play during the 2025 season before falling in the semifinals to eventual champion Wagner. The Bison enter the 2026 match with a 0-1-2 record after drawing George Washington and Hampton. Howard’s lone loss came against Florida Atlantic, a 7-0 defeat.
Freshman Dominique Desert has scored Howard’s lone goal of the 2026 season, finding the net in the draw against Hampton. Junior Imani Kissi and senior Alauna Rutland recorded assists on the goal. Senior goalkeeper Trinity Knox has played all of Howard’s minutes in goal and enters with a 2.67 goals-against average and 27 saves.
