Edward Waters University women’s soccer played Palm Beach Atlantic University to a 1-1 draw Sept. 7 at Nathaniel Glover Community Field & Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. The result moved Edward Waters University to 3-1-1 overall, while Palm Beach Atlantic University moved to 2-1-1. The match was scoreless at halftime.
Joselyn Casanova put Edward Waters University ahead at 61:11 with an assist from Dadie Cherenfant. Casanova finished with two shots, both on goal, while Rose-Bertude Rosinvil recorded two shots, including one on goal. Palm Beach Atlantic University goalkeeper Jadyn Stults made two second-half saves.
Palm Beach Atlantic University tied the match at 83:01 when Kelsi Bennett scored on an assist from Meren Patton. Edward Waters University goalkeeper Solange Brown made four saves and allowed one goal over 90 minutes.
