The Florida State University women’s golf team will open its 2026-27 season Sept. 7-9 at the fifth annual Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan.
Florida State will compete in a 12-team, 54-hole tournament featuring 18 holes each day. The event will be nationally televised on the Golf Channel, with live statistics available through Scoreboard.
Head coach Amy Bond, who is entering her 17th season at the helm, said the tournament carries significance beyond the competition because of the mission of Folds of Honor.
“To be able to start our season at the Folds of Honor Collegiate is very special,” Bond said. “This is not just a golf tournament, but a way for us to appreciate the sacrifices others have made for us to play a game we love. The Folds of Honor provides scholarships to spouses and children of military service members and first responders. What a great way to begin a season with a tournament that means so much to others.”
Folds of Honor raises awareness and funds to provide educational scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen or disabled military members and first responders. Florida State is co-hosting the tournament with Michigan State.
Florida State University women’s golf lineup
The Florida State University women’s golf team enters the event ranked No. 8 in the Golf Channel preseason poll and No. 21 in the Golfweek preseason poll. The lineup consists of Sophia Fullbrook, Haruhi Nakatani, Louise Landgraf, Alexandra Gazzoli and Elin Pudas Remler.
Fullbrook earned Second Team All-America honors from Golfweek and the WGCA last season after recording seven top-10 finishes and three individual titles in her final five events. She posted a 71.09 stroke average and a team-high 23 rounds at or under par.
Fullbrook is ranked No. 23 in the world by WAGR and was named to the ANNIKA Award watch list. She also received Second Team All-America preseason recognition from Golf Channel and Golfweek.
Fullbrook will make her third appearance at the Folds of Honor Collegiate after finishing in the top 10 in each of her previous two appearances. She tied for ninth last season and tied for sixth as a freshman.
Nakatani returns for her second season after competing in every event during her freshman campaign. She recorded a 72.48 stroke average, 18 rounds at or under par and four top-10 finishes while reaching as high as No. 70 in the nation.
Gazzoli competed in every event for Florida State last season, recording a 73.64 stroke average and 12 rounds at or under par. Pudas Remler competed in 10 events and posted a 73.87 stroke average with 10 rounds at or under par.
Pudas Remler finished 15th at the Folds of Honor Collegiate last season. Gazzoli and Nakatani each tied for 31st in their first appearances at American Dunes Golf Club.
Landgraf is the only Seminole in the lineup making her collegiate debut. She ranked as high as No. 42 in the world by WAGR and received Honorable Mention All-America and All-Freshman Team preseason recognition from Golf Channel.
Folds of Honor Collegiate field
Florida State University and Michigan State will co-host a field that also includes Kentucky, Kansas, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Navy, North Carolina A&T, Findlay, Arizona, Duke and Oklahoma State. The tournament is scheduled for Sept. 7-9 at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven.

We added a couple of great freshmen to that core so the competition has been really good early on. The goal of the fall is to see what we have and continue to get better each week. This week will be the starting point of what will be a memorable year.”
